The Margarita's origin is one of many conflicting stories. Was this an easily predicted riff on a Daisy?  Or did a forgetful bartender get distracted and stumble onto accidental greatness?  Was it named for a famous showgirl?   Was this a great wedding present? The true story may never be known, but what is known is this: the Margarita is arguably the most refreshing cocktail ever.  

Classic Margarita

• 2 oz Tequila Corazon Blanco
• 1/2 oz Cointreau Triple Sec
• 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
• 1 oz Fresh lime juice **
• 2 dashes Orange Bitters 

Add all ingredients to a shaker and top with ice. Shake vigorously and stain into a rocks glass with a partially salted rim.  Garnish with lime wheel on the rim.
