"The 2023 The Contrarian is a blend of 54% Grenache Blanc, 28% Viognier, 16% Picpoul and 2% Chenin Blanc fermented and aged in concrete. The nose is floral and fragrant with herbal accents, showing aromas of lily, jasmine, pine needles and citrus fruit. The palate combines angular, linear focus with subtle fleshy richness and concludes with a refreshing, taut and charming finish—yet another fantastic example of Paso Robles white wines' ability to overdeliver in the right hands."
