Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru "La Dominode" is a highly esteemed Premier Cru vineyard in Burgundy, celebrated for producing distinctive Pinot Noir wines with notable aging potential. Located on the southern side of the Savigny valley, its unique terroir of limestone and iron-rich soils contributes to wines of excellent structure, concentration, and characteristic minerality. These wines often display expressive red fruit aromas of cherry and raspberry intertwined with subtle spice, earthy undertones, and fine-grained tannins, offering both immediate pleasure and impressive complexity with bottle age.

" The 2020 Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru La Dominode (Domaine Louis Jadot) is excellent, offering up aromas of raspberries and plums mingled with sweet spices, woodsmoke and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and concentrated, with lively acids and a long, penetrating finish, it's seamless and complete. It's another fine rendition of a cuvée that's regularly among the domaine's high points."
