"Derived from a hectare of vines that are approaching 60 years of age, the 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Côte de Léchet Reserve is matured half in barrel, half in tank. Offering up aromas of lemon oil, dried white flowers, pastry cream, oyster shell and blanched almonds, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and multidimensional, with more concentration and texture than the regular Côte de Léchet but just as much cut and tension, concluding with a saline, delicately wood-inflected finish. This will merit several years of bottle age."
