" The 2015 Pouilly Fuisse la Roche comes from calcareous, poor soils. It offers powerful wild honey and honeysuckle aromas on the nose, very seductive, if perhaps not quite as sophisticated as the Les Crays. The palate is very well balanced with light honeyed tones on the entry, just the right amount of spice (lemongrass and fennel), although I would like to see more persistence and complexity develop in bottle, hence my slightly lower score here vis-à-vis others."
