"A new single-vineyard bottling that made its debut with the 2013 vintage, the 2015 Runway Vineyard Pinot Noir is lovely, wafting from the glass with notes of griotte cherry, underbrush, spice and dried rose petal. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, supple and satiny, with a cool core of succulent fruit and a lingering, savory finish. This is a very attractive and incipiently complex Pinot Noir from Jim Clendenen. The fact that it saw only one-third new oak may explain why I appreciated it so much."
